Trip Report Linux Info Tag Augsburg
After a Email request to hold a talk about I2P at the Linux Info Tag Augsburg,
I did went to Augsburg on 21st April 2018.
The schedule for that event is reachable on https://www.luga.de/Aktionen/LIT-2018/.
The event was hold at the university of applied sciences, a nice building with enough
lecture halls to give talks, also nice infrastructure. To bad, a fresh coffee was
missed all the day.
After visiting 2 other talks and a lunch break I did hold my I2P talk "a replacement
for Tor (or not) - I2P) in the biggest room of the event. As it was a beginner talk,
I did not talk much about internals, more about general what is I2P and why it differs
to Tor. The slides in german are linked here: https://frab.luga.de/system/event_attac ... 1524131424
I did have round about 30 visitors in this talk, which seems to be a good median
for this event, as the other talks I did visit did have had 20-40 visitors.
After my talk I got some detail questions and another I2P user did came to me helping
with the questions.
After time´s up, we got out and discussed 1h aobut I2P and around outside.
If time let me, I´ll be in Augsburg 2019, too.
